About Us
A bit about Piece of Paradise...
Piece of Paradise is owned by abstract resin artist Mike Milton.
The name not only represents what Mike would like to achieve in life through his work, but what he hopes people will feel they have when they buy one of the beautiful pieces of resin artwork.
Although by day Mike works in the finance industry, his passion is resin and woodwork and he loves using his creativity and precision to create something completely unique.
He says: “The almost alchemical process of working with resin is such an attraction for me. I love how hands-on it is. It feels like you're working with a living substance. You can follow the same process, use the exact same techniques a dozen times and you'll end up with a dozen different results. Some of the pieces in my collections look similar, but no two will be exactly the same. I might know where I'm going with a piece, but the end result is always a surprise. The unique, one of a kind nature of resin art is amazing.”
Mike lives in Dorking, Surrey, with his wife Briony who helps with admin and marketing for Piece of Paradise.
